Information Sought In Traffic Homicide
On Saturday, August 15, 2009, a traffic homicide occurred on Delaware Avenue just west of Van Buren Street. While in the roadway, Patricia Senkbeil Skibinski was struck by a vehicle and later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid or notify the police. Witnesses have described the vehicle as a black older model sport utility vehicle. Any person with information regarding this case should contact Traffic Homicide Investigator Christopher Denton at 727-841-4550 x306.

Information Sought In Unsolved Homicide
On Tuesday, April 21, 2009, detectives investigated a homicide that occurred at 7618 US 19 (Cherry Bomb Tattoos). Owner Clint Wilson was shot as he closed his business . Wilson later succumbed to his injuries. Detectives are asking anyone who has information about this shooting to come forward. Wilson's family is offering a $5,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.

Law Enforcement Memorial
The New Port Richey Police Department's Honor Guard participated in the 2009 Law Enforcement Memorial Service held in Dade City on May 1st, 2009. Law enforcement officers from every local, state and federal agency in the area participated. Our Honor Guard had the privilege of joining the Pasco Sheriff's Office Honor Guard in leading the service.
