Records is staffed by two full time clerks. There are also temporary part time AARP personnel to serve as receptionists.

Records manages processing and data entry on all police reports, citations, traffic accidents, and arrests. We work closely with the State Attorney's Office, Juvenile Justice, the Clerk of the Circuit Court, and Archives.

The public is served from 8:00am to 5:00pm weekdays in order to be accessible to our working customers.

When requesting a copy of a police report, please call ahead to be sure the report is available. Copies of police documents are .15 cents per page. All reports are released pursuant to F.S.S. 119. Please expect a processing time of three business days for copies of basic reports to be available. In the case of traffic crash reports, expect a period of five to seven business days for them to be available. Photo identification is required for copies of some reports.

Records can be reached at 727-816-1131.
